Hailing from Jarkarta, Indonesia, Karyadi Sutedja first came to the states in 1994 to study at the Berklee College of Music. Having studied classical guitar since the age of 8, Sutedja opted to explore new musical avenues with jazz guitar and theory, alongside music production and engineering. His studies culminated in a bachelor’s degree in music, which was followed by an internship at Prophet Sound in Stoughton MA in 1996. It was there that Karyadi Sutedja met Anthony J. Resta and quickly joined the team at Bopnique Musique studio in Boston where he swiftly progressed into the role of Recording Engineer. Since then Sutedja has engineered for artists such as Collective Soul, Shawn Mullins, Guster, Josh Joplin and so many more!
